Harvest Festival

Marquette , MI – Teaching Family Homes of Upper Michigan will be hosting a Harvest Festival for youth in the community on October 9, 2010 from 11am-3pm at their campus on Silver Creek Road in Harvey. Area youth will have the opportunity to participate in pumpkin painting, crafts, hiking and a variety of activities.

 

The mission of Teaching-Family Homes is to provide ethical, cost-effective care to children, families, and individuals in need of services. Our goal as an agency is to facilitate self-sufficiency, skill development, and interpersonal relationships through building upon and reinforcing individual strengths and attributes. Teaching Family Homes is an affiliate of Father Flanigan’s Boys Town and utilizes the research-based Teaching Family Model in many program components. Group homes, foster care and counseling services are nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
