Teaching Family Homes of Upper Michigan announces new LLMSW Therapist

Delta County—Teaching Family Homes of Upper Michigan (TFH) has availability with our new LLMSW Therapist in the Delta County office.  Effective May 30th, Erin Cretens LLMSW will be taking referrals at the Teaching Family Homes Counseling Office in Escanaba located at 1000 Ludington Street, Suite 204.

Cretens has been an employee of TFH for 8 years, serving as a Residential Program Consultant and Family Services Specialist. Cretens has experience working with families and youths who have a wide range of issues including, low self-esteem, aggression, depression, self mutilation, sexual boundaries,  mental health disorders, histories of abuse and neglect, limited social skills, and family turmoil. 

In her new position, Cretens says that although much of her past experience has been with adolescents and preadolescents, she also looks forward to seeing other populations such as working with individuals or couples and developing the agency’s play therapy services for younger children.  Erin can be reached at 906-789-9890.
